TRANSLATION MEMORY & GLOSSARY
CTS uses cutting-edge translation software to store translations in a database called Translation Memory (TM). The software can also analyse new translation projects to find content that has already been translated in the past, which leads to lower costs and turnaround time for our clients.
In addition, we use terminology management tools such as Termbase to build and manage client-specific glossaries. Termbase enables us to translate key terminology according to your requirements consistently. It is also possible to keep specific terminology untranslated.
TM and Termbase are excellent tools that are particularly helpful when working on urgent projects requiring multiple translators.
WORKFLOW & QUALITY ASSURANCE
We have developed customised workflows to streamline our translation projects. The first step involves understanding your requirements and reviewing your source document. We’ll ask questions, set deadlines, and make sure we have everything we need to complete the project successfully.
The next step involves assigning the project to one of our project managers. They’ll decide on the skills required for the project and send the files to a suitably qualified translator.
Once we have completed the draft translation, we will use QA tools to review it for typos, consistency issues, and other common errors. Finally, we’ll tidy the translated file and perform a final review before delivering it to the client.
